-AID THROUGH ART-

-Bronze Finish-

The Maasai Collection was available in two different finishes. This finish is 'cold cast bronze' for collectors who enjoy a traditional look. It was a very unique and innovative finish introduced to the market place in 1999 and went on to sell in over 22 countries.

-Culture Clocks-

These one of a kind clocks are made with unique handmade paper, Maasai jewelry and antique african beads that I had collected during my travels overseas. I construct the frames myself in the studio out of my favorite wood, solid walnut. For  the past few years I began working with mixed media art and found these to be a perfect addition to the Maasai Collection

-Painted Finish-

The Maasai are known for their vibrant colors of their magnificent hand made jewelry and clothing. These AP masters were meticulously hand painted by artists Jane and Sue at CWS. With their magic and talent the pieces really came to life. I am really blessed to have worked with such an incredible and talented team at Collectible World Studios and thank them all for their commitment to the Maasai Collection

-Proud keepers of cattle-

"BRING SWEETNESS AND FRAGRANCE TO THE TROUBLES WITH WHICH WE ARE BOTHERED AND GIVE US THE STRENGTH TO DO THE WORK WE HAVE STARTED HERE."

-Maasai prayer-

-Physically the Maasai are among the handsomest of mankind,' wrote Norman Leys in 1925 in his book 'Kenya'-

"The Maasai Collection not only do they capture perfectly the majestic appearance of the Maasai but they also invoke something more- the quite and noble dignity which this most regal of African tribes carries with them like an aura."
